Alfahm means 'charcoal' in Arabic, and our Alfahm Chicken Mandi at Malabar Mandi Majlis Restaurant honours that tradition. Whole chicken pieces are marinated in a blend of Arabian and Malabar spices, then char-grilled over open flame until the skin is crisp and the meat juicy and smoky.
The chicken is served over our signature Mandi rice, slow-cooked with whole spices, saffron, and dried lime for layers of flavour. Together with our house sauces, it is a satisfying, aromatic meal that brings the taste of Arabia to Saskatchewan.
